UCMatrix was developed by our engineers because of years of experience dealing with managing Cisco Unified Communications (UC) and helping customers manage their UC environments.  The one common complaint amongst customers was the complexity of the systems.  Cisco provides a very powerful system, which inherently means many options and settings, many of which are either not needed, or are common to all users.  All these settings can lead to missed configuration options, or incorrectly configured settings, which can lead to time wasted troubleshooting ,frustration and unhappy customers.
